The American Indoor Football league (AIF) is proud to announce that Terry Mitchell of the West Michigan Ironmen has been named the 2026 AIF Coach of the Year.
Mitchell led the Ironmen to the league’s best overall record during the 2026 season and helped establish West Michigan as one of the top organizations in the AIF this year through strong leadership, preparation, and consistency throughout the season.
AIF Commissioner Terry Foster announced the award following the conclusion of the regular season.
The AIF congratulates Coach Terry Mitchell and the West Michigan Ironmen organization on an outstanding 2026 season.
